 The Dianne Joyce Design Company is a residential, hotel and resort interior design firm, which has worked on many boutique properties around the world. Our award winning firm gives credence to the fact that we have a clear understanding of the quality and demands of high profile projects. We feel our ability to design aesthetically pleasing, as well as functional interiors, sets us apart from many other firms.

By way of background, the Dianne Joyce Design Company is a full service, architecturally oriented interior planning, design and purchasing firm. We are a member of the International Interior Design Association. Our personnel resources include interior architects and designers who have completed award winning facilities for various clients both nationally and internationally. Our works include hotel, restaurants, health clubs, country clubs, unique homes and residential developments. This broad diversity of assignments is hardly accidental. The challenges of new ideas and new solutions are stimulating to our team of seasoned professionals and are thus emphasized in our business development activities. As a function of this diversity, our firm has the experience to coordinate effectively with our clients on all projects.

We have been involved in a number of residential and hospitality projects, each with a different and very special ambiance. We are proud that our firm was chosen from a prestigious list of known firms to provide interior design services for companies such as Nikko Hotels, Banco Popular, and the Disney Development Company.

Completed projects include Sandals Resorts in St. Lucia, Antigua, Jamaica and Nassau. In addition, we worked on the public areas for Deering Bay and Capobella in Miami, as well as the Tides Hotel on South Beach, FL. We recently completed the renovation of the Beijing Hotel in China.

Hotel Nikko, Atlanta, Georgia

Scope: Design, preliminary consultation through construction drawings, supervision, furniture specifications and installation of a unique Georgian styled five star hotel in Buckhead. This 380,000 square foot hotel holds 450 guest suites, three restaurants, one lounge, three meeting rooms, two ballrooms as well as a concierge living room. This completed project graced the cover of Contract Design magazine and was also featured in International magazine.

Disney Port Orleans & Dixie Landings Resorts, Orlando, Florida

Scope: Design through construction drawings, furniture specifications and installation of a new 3,200 room resort hotel theme on the New Orleans experience. This project involved a close working relationship with the owner and necessitated a special team approach to meet time schedules and budget. This project was featured in Interiors magazine.

Marriott Hotel, San Salvador, El Salvador

Scope: Renovation of all public spaces including lobby, lobby bar, main restaurant, terrace restaurant, ballrooms, meeting rooms and guest offices.

Bourbon Orleans Hotel, New Orleans, Louisiana

Scope: Subject to the very stringent requirements of the historic Vieux Carre district, the oldest ballroom in the area was rehabilitated to house the public spaces of a luxury hotel with an authentic New Orleans flavor. Two adjacent apartment buildings of more recent vintage were also renovated to contain guestrooms and then connected to the historic structure. The result, the new Bourbon Orleans Hotel was a highly successful project that won a Designer of the Year award and was published in Interior Design Magazine.

Sandals Resorts, La Toc, St. Lucia, BWI

Scope: The redesign of the main lobby and circulation areas as well as the International restaurant, conference center, meeting facilities, a Japanese restaurant and 121 guest rooms. This project was designed and supervised on a fast track schedule with local labor and resources.

Deering Bay, Miami, Florida
Scope: Design of the public areas, sales center, condominium  prototypes and the model home for the initial building. 

Capobella, Miami Beach, Florida 

Scope: Complete interior design and furnishing of the public spaces of this condominium building.

Sandals Resorts, Halcyon, St. Lucia, BWI Scope: Redesign of the main lobby and circulation areas as well as the entertainment area, piano bar, a full service dining restaurant, also the specialty restaurants including a Mediterranean / Italian restaurant and a Fisherman's warf restaurant. Project was designed and supervised on a fast track schedule working with local labor and resources.

Sandals Resorts, Royal Bahamian Resort, Nassau, Bahamas
Scope: Renovation and expansion of the public areas including the lobbies, restaurants, bars, lounges, and pool decks.

The Tides Hotel, South Beach, Florida 

Scope: The historic renovation of one of the famous art deco hotels in South Beach. The original building was a 120 room apartment complex which was remodeled into a 45 custom suite room hotel. Our work included the lobby, the 1220 Restaurant and Bar, terrace restaurant, pool terrace and mezzanine. We specially design the furnishings as well. This hotel was featured in the movies "Given Sunday" with Robert DeNiro, and "Random Hearts" with Harrison Ford.  It has also been published in the books Hip Hotels and Interiors and Architecture.

The Beijing Hotel, Beijing, China

Scope: Renovation of the four guest towers, which encompass approximately 1000 guestrooms and suites, concierge floor and private meeting rooms.

Azure, Surfside, Florida

Scope: Design of the public spaces for the condominium project.

University of North Carolina at Asheville, Residence for the Chancellor

Scope: Provide interior design planning and details for the architectural interiors, and decorative services for the furnishings and art collection.
