Pisgah House, at the University of NC, in Asheville
Pisgah House is a new, multi purpose facility that will also serve as the residence for the current and future Chancellors. It will also serve as a location for University hosted meetings, receptions, dinners, programs and performances. Pisgah House, it's grounds and it's access drive are located on a two acre site within the University.
The two story Pisgah House is approximately 6,000 square feet. A large portion of it's fixed architectural elements, as well as the decoratives, were commissioned within the artist community of the area. Stone, metal and wood workers as well as textile weavers, ceramists and painters are among the trades and talents used for this project.
